Elisha Chambers, MS, OTR/L
Elisha Chambers joined the staff at Canyon Kids in June 2017. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2009. She continued her education at Howard University and graduated with honors, from Howard’s Masters of Occupational Therapy program. Since graduating, Elisha has completed several continuing education courses including: Improving Executive function, Handwriting Without Tears- Get Set for School, Astronaut Training, Integrated Listening System, Primitive Reflex Integration, and Visual Processing Therapy. Elisha is currently in the process of completing her PhD in Health Related Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University. Before joining the practice, Elisha worked in several private practice settings, providing occupational therapy services to children in the clinic and in their school setting. She has experience working with children with a range of sensory, genetic, and neurological disorders. She is passionate about working with children of all ages and helping them achieve their goals.
