Lisa Abrams, MS, OTR/L
Lisa holds a bachelor of science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Rush University in Chicago. Lisa is a Board Certified Occupational Therapist in the State of Maryland. She has 12 years of experience working with pediatric patients in a variety of settings, including: in-patient and out-patient services at Children’s National Medical Center, school-based services through Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) and, most recently, the Infants and Toddlers program of MCPS. Lisa has taken extensive continuing education courses in sensory integration, fine motor, Handwriting Without Tears, autism spectrum, and feeding disorders. Additionally, she is involved with the “Girls on the Run” program of Montgomery County.
Lisa is originally from Gaithersburg, MD. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her dog, Rocco. In her spare time, she enjoys running and spending time with family and friends.
